I am an amputee and that makes skating tricky. When I found out about sled hockey I thought it was cool. It's not easy though. Learning how to skate in a sled and still master all of the other elements of hockey has been a fun challenge. We have a close-knit team. My teammates, coaches and the families are all really nice and supportive.
